TriMet · Gresham to Downtown Portland, OR
Overview
When TriMet awarded Raimore the $175 million Division Transit Project contract, it became the largest contract ever awarded to a certified DBE in Oregon history. We delivered the FX2-Division bus rapid transit corridor — the state's first BRT line — connecting Gresham to downtown Portland across 15 miles of transformed streetscape.
The project introduced 60-foot articulated buses, 42 elevated boarding platforms, transit signal priority, real-time arrival displays, and protected bike lanes alongside redesigned pedestrian crossings. Working alongside roughly thirty DBE subcontractors, we set a new standard for who gets to participate in projects of this scale — proving that DBE participation isn't a constraint on quality or schedule, but a multiplier of community value.
