Why Raimore

Why owners
choose us.

Raimore brings 25+ years of heavy civil experience, self-perform capabilities, and deep community roots to every project. Here's what that means for your job — and why public agencies, private owners, and prime contractors keep coming back.

01

Legacy

For the past 25 years, we have walked alongside the owners, agencies, partners, and communities whom our work touches. Not as a vendor, but as a partner whose principle is that doing the right thing is inevitable. Profit is encouraged, but it is not paramount. Our measure of success is stewardship. Integrity toward the work, the people, and every community our work serves. Stewardship and excellence is what we bring to every project.

02

Ownership

We build with trusted partners who share our commitment to quality and craft. That commitment runs through every discipline on the job. Concrete, earthwork, underground utilities, steel, and railroad track work approached with the same attention to detail, accountability, and craftsmanship.

03

Precision

What we build carries people. That gravity is uncompromising. Our engineers are held to a rigorous standard because infrastructure affects lives. To safeguard that, our quality control program handles the unforeseen, relentlessly addresses anything that threatens progress, and keeps every detail accounted for throughout. The result is work delivered safely, on time, within budget, and exceeding the expected quality.

04

Adaptability

When the city cannot stop, neither can the work. We do not build in controlled conditions with clean shutdowns and empty corridors. We build in the middle of everything. Where life is still moving, where people still depend on what is there, and where there is no room for error. That is not a challenge we overcome. It is the environment we are built from.

05

Execution

When a Raimore project is complete, what remains is not just infrastructure. It is something the community can feel, touch, and remember. Work delivered on schedule, on time, and within budget, to a standard that outlasts the moment it was built. Twenty five years of showing up the right way produces a reputation that cannot be manufactured. Not one we claim. One that precedes us.

06

Wellbeing

Infrastructure is built by people. At Raimore, we build people first. Getting every person home well to their family is a founding principle. We create an environment where every person is supported, seen, and set up to do their best work safely. Beyond the hard hat and the job site, we invest in the whole person. No detail is too small. No person is overlooked.

FAQ

Frequently
asked questions.

Quick answers about our work, qualifications, and how we partner with owners, agencies, and contractors across the Pacific Northwest.

Raimore Construction specializes in heavy civil and general contracting work across the Pacific Northwest. Our typical projects include:

  • Transportation corridors and bus rapid transit infrastructure
  • Light rail platforms, transit centers, and railroad track work
  • Roadway reconstruction and major maintenance projects
  • Parks, public spaces, and environmental restoration
  • Underground utilities and earthwork
  • Concrete self-perform, masonry, and demolition

We work on both public and private sector projects and have delivered work for TriMet, ODOT, PBOT, Portland Parks & Recreation, Metro, and Prosper Portland.

We are headquartered in Portland, Oregon, at 2522 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, and we primarily serve the Portland metro area and surrounding regions across the Pacific Northwest.

Project locations may vary depending on scope and client requirements. For the right project, we have the bonding capacity and field resources to mobilize across Oregon and southwest Washington.

Yes — public sector work is a core part of what we do. Raimore has extensive experience delivering projects for state agencies, transit authorities, municipalities, and school districts, and we are well-versed in compliance, reporting, and regulatory standards required for government and agency-led construction initiatives.

We deliver public projects under multiple delivery methods including CM/GC, design-build, hard bid, and joint venture structures.

We don't sub out the hard parts — we self-perform them. Our in-house capabilities include:

  • Concrete placement, forming, and finishing
  • Earthwork, excavation, and site grading
  • Underground utilities and storm/sanitary systems
  • Asphalt paving and roadway restoration
  • Brick, masonry, and pavement restoration
  • Demolition and selective demo
  • Railroad track work and platform construction

Direct ownership of the work means tighter quality control, faster response to field changes, and better accountability for owners.

Supporting emerging firms is foundational to Raimore — it's how the company itself was built. Through our program development, mentoring, and training services, we help DBE, MBE, WBE, and ESB contractors grow their capacity, professionalize their operations, and compete on equal footing.

On many of our projects, we have met or exceeded DBE participation goals — including a recent project completed with 100% MWESB participation.

Yes — it's one of our core specialties. We routinely deliver complex work around active transit, traffic, and adjacent occupied buildings with zero service disruption. Phased staging, night work, traffic control, public outreach, and stakeholder coordination are core competencies for our team.

Recent examples include the 82nd Avenue corridor projects (delivered under live PBOT traffic), Hollywood Transit Center (built around active TriMet service), and PMLR shelter installations completed entirely during night work windows.

The fastest way to start a conversation is through our contact form — tell us about your project, timeline, and scope, and our team will get back to you within one business day.
